American Pit Bull Terrier

We all love animals, especially cats and dogs. Different cultures treat animals in different ways; some places like in India, for example, elephants are sacred. In the west, our loyal friends – dogs – are very much sacred to us. However, that fact does not stop some people from also being afraid of some type of dogs.

If you are slotted to come to Germany, it is a good idea to check if your best friend is banned from entering Germany. Germans love their animals, especially dogs. However, because of some negatives experiences in the past some special breeds have been banned from entering the country. The Dog Transfer and Import Restrictions Act prohibit importing, transferring, breeding, or crossbreeding some breeds.

The Pit Bull Terrier, American Staffordshire Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, and the Bull Terrier are part of this list of prohibition. As beautiful and extraordinary as these breeds might be, some people fear them because of their looks and aggressive reputation. Reputation made by some irresponsible people that used these great creatures for their own selfish gains.

But there is always an exception to the law, for example, if the dog is used for security or for helping handicapped people and all paperwork has been taking care of they might be able to enter the country. One can find more information from www.zoll.de.
